Not sure it really counts as a pub but a friend and I used to fall in here after our montly catch-ups in the Social next door. The staff were always very friendly and the food never less than excellent.

Surely this is a restaurant rather than a pub/bar? It's great for sausages and mash but I don't know about going there for anything other than that!

Shoddy, shoddy, shoddy. Children who like their alcoholic ribena might like it, but if you want beer you won't.

Unfortunately, I work near this place and in all the times I've been, the Timothy Taylor Landlord pump has *never* been working, leaving only Bombardier and Bass - if you're lucky.

Today, Friday lunchtime, to celebrate someone's birthday, and not one single hand pump was on and for no good reason either.

Our group left this almost deserted place within 15 minutes as a result. Deserted, that is, except for a table of policemen laughing wildly over "police, camera, action" type out-takes. Very strange.

The actual quality of the beer when they can be bothered to serve it reflects the indifference of its third-rate management, in my opinion.

This place is sadly typical of so many so-called bars and pubs in London.

How can a venue that can't have traded in this form 5 years ago and won't exist in 5 years time be rated as a beer venue? It sells sausages and cocktails. I rest my case

On a recent visit I got into the Blackcurrant Daquiris..

sounds a bit gay but they were the dogs B******s.

Highly recommend a trawl through their cocktail menu.
Staff also friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
