I have used this pub as an away supporter and find it friendly enough on match days.does get very crowded though and awkward to get served.typical high ceiling london style pub small toilets though and the prices bit steep i suppose they can get away with it being so close to griffin park i wonder how the trade is on non match days its an ok pub though but may try somewhere else next time we play there.found the local supporters friendly though which bumps my rating up a notch.

One of Brentford's numerous football pubs, this place has all the trademarks of a classic footy pub; well-drilled, efficient team of bar staff, big screens for Sky Sports, space at a premium and so on... Unlike a lot of pubs near football grounds, this one seemed like it might be worth a visit on weekdays too.
A good range of Fullers ales were on offer, but as mentioned by pretty much everyone else, they're charging £3.20 for a pint of Pride, which was enough to convince me to try one of the other pubs in the area when I visit next season.

Pub is OK and worth a visit but not like it was before Brentford's match against Bradford on 13th December - it was very overcrowded, extremely
uncomfortable and to expect drinkers to pay £3.20 for a pint of London Pride in those conditions is really taking the p*ss. Just as well it was my mate who fought his way to the bar to buy the round. I wouldn't have bothered. I will never again go there before a match, probably not even afterwards ! Beer is about 50p per pint cheaper in the Magpie & Crown, which very rarely crowded.

As Strongers has pointed out, prices are now high. A pint of Pride was also £3.20 the last time I visited.

The Griffin (and the beer) is good but it's not that good. There's plenty of pubs around the area and indeed along the river towards London where you are not charged such a high price for your beer.

A pity but I'm no longer drinking in the Griffin whilst their prices are so much higher than other places.
