As Strongers has pointed out, prices are now high. A pint of Pride was also £3.20 the last time I visited. The Griffin (and the beer) is good but it's not that good. There's plenty of pubs around the area and indeed along the river towards London where you are not charged such a high price for your beer. A pity but I'm no longer drinking in the Griffin whilst their prices are so much higher than other places. danbert - 24 Apr 2008 15:25
It was nice to see all of the flags on display for St George’s day in this Fuller’s pub, although £3.20 for a pint of Carling is a bit of a piss take. There is a beer garden out the back (although I did not see it) and plenty of benches at the front of the pub. I also have to agree that this is the best pub out of the 4 corner pubs of Griffin Park. I usually go to the New Inn on match days, but I’ll give this one a try next time. Strongers - 22 Apr 2008 15:33
Visited this pub pre match last Saturday. Good old traditional place, not over crowded although it was a nice day so there was an overspill on to the pavement. Second pint of Pride good and burger from garden barbecue reasonable. Downsides - unsupervised children in the pub and over proliferation of St George's flags inside. lyeemoon - 18 Feb 2008 12:07
Had a pre match Pride on Saturday and very nice it was too. Always tastes at its best in here. Pride is the only cask beer available but they had ESB and Honeydew in bottles. Always packed in here before games and despite only having one beer it's thoroughly recommended. GuideDogSaint - 19 Nov 2007 22:29
Definitely the best of the 'four pubs of Griffin Park'. Extremely homely and very small and gets cramped very quickly on matchdays. But is well worth a visit. I liked the fact that, when I went in during the summer and there were only a few regulars in, I was mae to feel welcome and not like an outsider, non-local type as some pubs can feel like. Always have a few guest ales and the London Pride is beautiful. jim_of_the_bob - 16 Oct 2007 17:53
