| Great pub - a proper drinkers pub with good mix of people old and young. Really friendly lot, not clicky like some local pubs can be. Got a huge beer garden hidden out the back. Best pub in the town. pub_goer_frome - 12 Mar 2008 20:27 |
| Cracking pub this. Good mix of drinkers old and new this is what pubs are meant to be like. I love the old matchbox collection on the wall. I agree with the last reviewer it is a bit smoky but still a classic pub. The plasma screen on the wall looks a bit out of place though. dgriffin - 5 Jun 2006 10:45 |
| A friendly and characterful pub with OK beers, but spoiled for me by being a bit of a fag-smoke trap. Will be interesting to see whether the new non-smoking legislation improves this, or forces them out of business! Bevver - 3 Mar 2006 15:14 |
