My impression of lallywoo is that she(?) is not a "pub person".
I shall look forward to trying this pub myself, but not for long, as the proper beer range seems rather limited.

I've always found the landlady/lord to be friendly, they may take no nonsense, but definitely not rude. Two energetic people trying hard to make a go of this pub in difficult times.

Obnoxious ladylady/lord, Rude doesnt come close if face doesnt fit. If it wasnt for a couple of very nice, funny lady regulars we wouldnt even of finished our drinks but these customers made the pub an enjoyable time while we were there. Wouldnt go again unless 100% sure these regulars were there. Pub rating 0.

The Pack Horse has changed ownership with the latest landlords in place for about a year. The beer range is limited to St Carol's - a rebadged version of Blindmans Mine, John Smiths keg or Newcastle Brown in bottles.

When we visited, we had the St. Carols, which was off, vinegary and very cold. We rejected the beer and were offered a replacement of John Smith's, Newcastle Brown or Guinness Extra cold but not a refund. We went for the Guinness.

A disappointment - unlikely to return.
