| Good food, big helpings, reasonable prices plus some nice staff. Hanging baskets are something else (near tropical)!! Went to Chester on Friday for Chester races on Saturday (June) although very busy did not wait for drink and the band on that Saturday night was great. | Found this place over St Patricks weekend Top pub, really good freshly cooked food, great live music on Friday and Saturday night, apparently it is normally Friday and open mic on Sunday, top bar staff and a young very approachable landlord Tom. | yer, a good old pub, drop in for a quicky. A woman came out of there and showed me her jugs.....so she was happy with the place. most of chester is up it's arse.So have six or seven here, then go to Liverpool for about five and start the night of right drinking in the city center pubs. tintin2000 - 29 Dec 2006 17:12 |
