Great local. On the site ad thought it worth rating the pubs ive spent the last 10 years enjoying. A real locals pub!! One complaint..get rid of the pool table! PaulHemingway67 - 30 Jan 2012 20:27
Pretty busy on my vist (a friday eve) and seemed to be successfully catering for all age groups, tastefull re-fit has certainly helped here. Ales on offer were Tetley cask and Wells Bombardier, both excellent. boltonbloke - 16 Aug 2008 13:37

Absolutely fantastic pub. Was up recently to visit my sister and went in this place is is her local. Although a bit out of the way it served fantastic food, had a good selection of lager and a couple of guest ales to boot. The staff were friendly and the service was quite good although it did get a bit packed between 9 and 10 when there was a bit of a wait. My sister informs me that the pub has recently been renovated so can't comment on the decor but I'd definately give this place 10/10. Word of warning though the locals are freindly but at times i did feel like i was in Royston Vasey! Ryan Wareham - 8 Apr 2005 17:59
