Amazing decor inside. The best pub on Fight Street by a country mile. Dark interior sometimes means it looks closed in the daytime, but great place to pass a few hours setting the world to right in the leather bound chairs.

I really like this bar - more for the decor than anything else. I love the huge candles they have at the front.
They decor is quite dark but I like the funky leather sofas and chairs, although I do agree and the sofas are quite difficult to perch on with a drink.

I dont think I would stay in this place all night but its nice to go for a couple of quiet drinks before the crowds come along in the evening.

Not bad for the location. I dont usually like gloomy pubs but they seem to get away with it in here. BUT! I bloody hate sofas in pubs. Give a man a decent chair to sit on for gods sake, this is a drinking establishment not someones front room. nuf said.

Hit and miss.

Best of a bad bunch on West St - and is definitely at its best later when all the chavs & chavettes have gone to the Event/Standard/whatever the one opposite the event is called.
Can have decent tunes in there - I wandered in when on my way home one night & Al Outram (Pussycat Club resident) was DJing... Stayed for a few drinks and even got a seat on one of the sofas. Good way to round of the night if not going clubbing - I think it kicked out at 2.

i happen to know that the management deliberately turn away chavvy types, expect a refreshing change for a west street bar!!!
