| I called in yesterday, on my first visit to Bolton. The place has a beautiful exterior...Stained glass, moulded cornices.. Filled with the promise of an interesting interior, good beers, and a bit of history... How disapointing. Obviously, as the comment below suggests it has been recently been "refurbished". Gutted of all interest would perhaps be more fitting. I think they might have borrowed the decorators and their new furniture from the nearest Whetherspoon's... Most disapointing and bland. But on the other-hand, it was busy on a dull grey afternoon, so it is obviously not damaging their business. But I was still very disapointed... alistair_cross - 21 Jan 2007 10:43 |
