we call this pub the madhouse due to the assortment of characters this pub seems to attract, but it is friendly enough the beer is usually good, and the banter top notch. love the snug at the side of the bar if you can get a seat in there. birstallblue - 20 Jun 2011 13:21
Concur totally with nimbusexpress. Top beer...massive beer garden...normally the starting point of a bradford night. Seve1974 - 24 Aug 2010 21:20
This is a great example of an unpretentious and genuine traditional city centre local. It's a fairly small pub that has a surprisingly large beer garden hidden away at the rear. nimbusexpress - 23 Aug 2010 23:52
It's a bit dusty and dirty but the beer is good. wooly2708 - 4 Aug 2010 23:50
As someone said previously, this is a 'must visit' pub, even if you are not a Sam Smith's fan (there's always the Pure Brewed Lager if you dont like the Old Brewery Bitter). arihall - 23 Mar 2010 17:17
