Good range of ales, plenty of seats and even live music sometimes. The best pub in Berwick.

Called in last Saturday afternoon. Plenty of regulars and visitors in to watch the France v Scotland rugby match. What a pub this is, a sure fire 10 rating!! A pity there aren't more like this around.

Sampled ESB and a 6.7%er called Old Jock Ale which was superb. A few more were also available, apart from a decent selection of bottled ales. The ambience and the general interior decor was something to behold! The best pub in Berwick by a country mile. If you're in the area, this is the one to visit.

Interesting pub with plenty of local trade, unusual artifacts such as an old dentist's chair at the end of the bar and most importantly a good range of well-kept ales, some Scottish including an extremely strong offering from Broughton. Deservedly popular and well worth a visit.

Probably the best pub in Berwick. Beers are always top-notch and of a good variety.
Staff are friendly and the music's good. Perfect after a walk on the beach.
Dog friendly too.

Excellent beer-drinkers' pub with a varied clientèle. Not somewhere you'd go for a sophisticated evening out but ideal for a pint or three of good ale if that's what you want - and in my view that's what a pub is for.
