This is a great pub and has certainly benefitted from the new management, Great pint of Otter Bitter.

Sadly, the landlord will be moving on soon. Pub Company has different ideas on the pub which is a shame as Barry has done a cracking job here. Always a selection of at least 4 real ales plus the friendly welcome, large beer garden and walls adorned with old beer bottles and framed pumpclips.

For all those interested there is a beer festival at the Rose and Crown this weekend (25th November - 28th November 2011)

Excellent and varied selection of real ale. Excellent live music most Saturdays. Friendly landlord, landlady and staff. Excellent and good value Sunday lunch. Best pub in the area. Highly recommended.
