Under new management and therefore the place is slowly decending back to what it was like 3 years ago. Poor staff who prefer to talk to their mates rather than serve customers. New clientele leave alot to be desired. The beer is still pretty good but if you want food check beforehand whether there is any available. Despite advertising"all day food" the day I went in they stopped serving at 4.30pm despite customers asking for food. droggs - 26 May 2010 11:15
since i was born i have always been in this pub.this is the best pub in lithgae, the rest dont have the standard that this pub has.the meals r gr8, it has been done up nicely but i aint impressed that they changed the way the name was spelt.apart from that i cannot fault this pub, the bar staff r brilliant and help make the pub more like a homly place with there positive attitudes and friendliness , oh and 1 last thing the drink is cheap aswell. wee_shaz_283 - 17 Oct 2007 20:21
I now agree with the last reviewer. This summer this place was refurbished with new staff. Man what a change!!! Good atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent food. What a change. Oh and the pint is one of the best in town. droggs - 11 Oct 2007 20:38
I must say I disagree. What a jewel in the crown of Lifgae. Marvellous staff, cheap beer and great food. bhoywunda - 11 Sep 2007 17:00
I agree with the previous reviewer. I used to visit here regularly many years ago. I visited recently. Boy what a change. Bar covered in empty glasses and spilt beer. Staff who will serve you only if they fancy you. Clientel who find it difficult to string a sentence together without swearing. Oh and the beer is lousy. anonymous - 29 May 2007 19:05
