| beautiful little olde worlde pub, a real haven to escape from the madding crowd. the anchor is situated in the historic village of Canewdon, gorgeous surrounding countryside so perfect for walks. the proprietors, john & brenda, are the perfect hosts, very friendly & welcoming. excellent food & astounding varieties of ciders! 10 out of 10. lisav - 26 Feb 2008 00:12 |
| This is a "local pub for local people" you might say, it can be rather clicky at times, not some place i'd personally like to take friends for a few quiet pints. They have an "okay" outdoor area where you can sit when the sun is out, the prices are average, an they do stock the odd rare ale/cider, but nothing to get excited about.
