Visited last week found all the beer to be in really bad condition. Pub stripped bare and all the good vibes have gone along with the previous landlord and landlady its such a shame as I enjoyed going in for a good pint of beer and the warm welcome that I always received from them both. buddha07 - 21 Nov 2008 14:13
Pub changed hands on 27th October and is now being managed by local Ben Moran, already the pub has a much happier feel about it and sky is now installed. Ben has launched Open Mic night every Wednesday evening and all musicians are encouraged to come and play for a free drink and to start or add to their following. Quiz night every Tuesday and a genuine desire to turn this into a popular local similar to its sister pub in Windsor The Prince Arthur rated as Windsor's best sports and part pub. fatpig100 - 6 Nov 2008 23:58
The beer range is good and varied - but still very few customers. The Beehive failed to capitalise on its student popularity when Dave was away from the Happy Man and the Monkeys Forehead was dreadful a few years back. Now both of the aforementioned are back in fashion, this place is losing out big time. If they don't pick up the student vote soon, I fear this place will be shut and sold off for housing, which would be a crying shame. Quinno - 12 Sep 2008 17:06

Was in there on the Saturday afternoon for a CAMRA social. Ian the landlord very pleasant. An excellent selection of Fullers beers including Gales HSB as well as Discovery which was in tip top condition. I also sampled the Ossett Pale Gold which was lovely. Food prices look very attractive and the menu seems to cater for most tastes. It was a little on the quiet side so I agree with some other reviewers to give this pub your support. aleheart - 24 Aug 2008 11:53
