please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Maybe I was there on an off day, but... bangers and mash arrived 20 minutes after my friend's fish pie although we ordered at same time. Suggest customers ask for sausage to be 'well done' as mine showed no outward signs of being cooked. Manager assured me it was and demonstrated by cutting sausage open on bar. Came back ok after more cooking but not a very satisfying experience.

Guess the previous reviewer was there on an "off-day". It's well worth going if only for the Skinners Betty Stogs. A very friendly locals pub in a spectacular location.

stunning location, but since the new manager has arrived the beer choice has been restricted mainly greene king, masquerading as ruddles, ridleys etc.
ok for a quick one but not worth the journey

Popped in for a quick beer with the family whilst staying at the nearby Camping & Caravanning Club site. Pub has a restaurant in a conservatory to the rear. Beer garden to the rear with seating available at the front also. Plentiful parking. Children are allowed in the dining area of the pub, restaurant and beer garden. Surprised that the pub had 4 real ales on - Tanglefoot and Midhurst Mild amongst them. Friendly greeting from the Landlord.
