| What a fantastic pub! My partner and I live about 20 miles from Graffham but frequently vistit the area to visit family. We often visit the pub whilst staying with family to enjoy the top quality atmosphere, high spirited and friendly locals, fantastic staff and of course the wide selection of Beer, Ale, Wines and Spirits. The pub is set in the beautiful south downs countryside, with the garden looking out onto the downs themselves. The White Horse is not only a fantastic pub but is also a FANTASTIC resteraunt. There is a wide choice of lovely food and the 'Chefs Specials' are just amazing! All of our meals were so wonderfully cooked and didn't take long to arrive at all. When my partner and I go for meals in other pubs and resteraunts, all meals are now compared to the White Horse! With a friendly welcome from the landlord, the helpfulness of the staff, I would definately reccomend anyone to visit the White Horse Pub and would say that if you were passing the area, it is definatley worth making a detour to pay a visit. finefoodlover - 12 Jul 2011 12:21 |
| Having seen reviews all be it old I visited The White Horse in Graffham. Being hungry and expecting food I was extremely disappointed with the very limited choice that was available, having then decided to have a main meal from a choice of three or four on offer I was then told by bar staff that they weren't cooking on a Sunday evening. I took a copy of the menu and having spoken to the people that recommended it to me, we found that the menu hadn't changed over a period of three years. I would highly recommend giving this pub a miss and going down the road to The Foresters Arms, where you receive a warm welcome from staff and whom will accomodate your every need. sophiebas - 6 Jul 2009 13:09 |
| Maybe I was there on an off day, but... bangers and mash arrived 20 minutes after my friend's fish pie although we ordered at same time. Suggest customers ask for sausage to be 'well done' as mine showed no outward signs of being cooked. Manager assured me it was and demonstrated by cutting sausage open on bar.
