| Had a meal there last week with my son. Great meal, as we would expect from this pub. Did notice it was very under used. I put this down to no drinkers/smokers at the bar. | In reply to mr. rbaird, the railway is indeed a fine establishment, however, due to the fickle nature of Framlingham's pub going crowd, the Railway is experiences both waves and troughs of activity throughout the years. | A fine establishment with something for everybody. Front bar for the drinker who likes a bit of warmth and comfort. Middle bar, with basic benches and tables and a back bar with big screen, pool, table football and darts. In the summer there is an area to sit in at the front of the pub and a sheltered garden round the back. The locals are on the most part very friendly. The land lady is very friendly and the bar staff are nearly always young, attractive, friendly, helpful ladies. Best pub in Framligham by some margin. rbaird - 18 Feb 2005 15:18 |
