| The pub was friendly, clean and comfortable when we visitied and had lunch last week. It's not a cosy country inn but the beer, food and staff were all good. Not expensive either; maybe the earlier comments were from somebody not used to southern or cosmopolitan prices. I'll definitely return when I next visit Framlingham Castle..... | This pub has the potential to be the best pub in Framlingham as it is the best location. Tourists worldwide visit Framlingham Castle each year. The pub is let down by its food menu and until recently had no local drinks. The pub can also get a bit overcrowded and rowdy in the evenings. It is a shame really because the pub has so much potential being right next to the Castle.
