This is a very well run pub that puts on a lot of good and varied music (there can be a fee to enter depending upon the band). A real haven for alternative music scenes. Only downside is GK only beers foolwing the dimise of Ridleys.

Ipswich’s premier live music pub for up and coming bands, a nice little boozer serving a niche market! Landlady runs a tight shop and the staff are outstanding, ale is well kept and often have a decent continental lager on draft. Odd L-shaped bar, decent sized dance floor and plenty of room outside. An excellent evening out for live tunes….
