| Small old style cosy pub with four ales on. I had a pint of thee Jaipur which by my reckoning was the nearest they had to a local brew on offer. Think they overdo it with the tellys. | Tiny one-roomed pub opposite the impressive Ceramica museum. There are 7 real ales to choose from, many from local breweries, and the place is mostly frequented by locals. Nevetheless, the atmosphere is friendly and there are newspapers to read with your pint if you don't want to join in. Definitely worth a visit in a town that is becoming a destination for ale lovers. | Funny sort of place because it's much smaller than your average pub, but works quite well. You can get a real ale & a decent drop of single malt. Regrettably there are 2 TVs in there often blaring sports idiocy, but it's still worth a pint & a spirit if you're in on your way to other Burslem locales.
