Great atmosphere, great beer, new traditional guest ales every fortnight-ish alongside some fantastic traditional food, like faggots and mushy peas! :) There's even some chipmunks outside for the kids to watch!

I Recommend this pub!

Just how pubs used to and should be ! Excellently kept beers, fine food, a traditional atmosphere and knowledgeable and welcoming landlady and staff (oh, and landlord). Well prepared and presented, long may your success continue.

Excellent food, fantastic beer garden which contains chipmunks and rabbits in the corner for the children, good real ale. Service was excellent.

Tried the pub a couple of times recently. Beer (Bass) was palatable and reasonably priced. Ordered food which was v. slow to be served, which gave us time to consume more ale. Decor and furnishings O.K., although I'm not sure about the fox that lives by the fire!
