This is a great pub. Went there on Wenesday with My Husband. The food was excellent and the service was second to none. Lovely atmosphere and the Staff were friendly. Music nights are good too!

We discovered this pub through this site and we are happy to have done so.
The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. The Sunday Roast is excellent: choice of tasty beef, pork or lamb with all the usual but you can choose the veg the chef puts in your plate. He serves you himself and is not mean with his laddle. You won't leave feeling hungry. One of the best roast we've ever tasted.
Big beer garden with enclosed playground and animal pens (goats and geese).
Beer okay.
Highly recommended

The Springers has a good big beer garden, but in recent years the bitter has become decidedly ropey, although the lager is fine. Plenty of space inside, has quiz machines, and a good sized car park.

A large family run business with friendly staff and home cooked food, there is a functio room, and a restaurant, it is extremely festiv at christmas time have all the pub decorated, and having a festive menu on in the restaurant with table decorations. a lovely traditional pub!!!
