Very traditional pub; feels like someone's house. Lots of characterful locals and good range of decent beer.

Dark Star Porter (on gravity) and APA, Weltons Pridenjoy and Harveys Sussex Best. Some real cider as well. Traditional country pub with a smart conservatory and plenty of room outside at the back. Lots of irritating kids on a Saturday lunchtime. Decent.

One of the best pubs in the area, always got a good drop or three on tap. Called in y'day whilst cycling from Seaford to Horsham. Superb pint of Hepworth's Chanctonbury Ring Oatmeal Stout to take the pain of the last 6 miles to home out of my legs. Friendly locals, though one pointedly remarked about my cycing whilst dressed in black. He was wearing hi-viz whilst at the bar, not much danger of getting run over there I'd have thought, but each to their own.

good little pub in a lovely spot. simple but reasonably priced food, decent beer and a bar with a lot of character

nice garden out the back too, so plenty of things for the kids to play on or space for them to run about

doesn't take cards though - so take plenty of cash if you're planning a session or a meal!
