| Dark Star Porter (on gravity) and APA, Weltons Pridenjoy and Harveys Sussex Best. Some real cider as well. Traditional country pub with a smart conservatory and plenty of room outside at the back. Lots of irritating kids on a Saturday lunchtime. Decent. GuideDogSaint - 24 Oct 2010 23:41 |
| One of the best pubs in the area, always got a good drop or three on tap. Called in y'day whilst cycling from Seaford to Horsham. Superb pint of Hepworth's Chanctonbury Ring Oatmeal Stout to take the pain of the last 6 miles to home out of my legs. Friendly locals, though one pointedly remarked about my cycing whilst dressed in black. good little pub in a lovely spot. simple but reasonably priced food, decent beer and a bar with a lot of character nice garden out the back too, so plenty of things for the kids to play on or space for them to run about doesn't take cards though - so take plenty of cash if you're planning a session or a meal! alexr2010 - 21 Aug 2009 22:52 |
