A fine traditional english village pub located very nicely in a pretty garden area.

Interesting pictures inside of Jonathan Ross, Gary Lineker and Bruce Forsyth. Not that they have visited here I expect.

Good ales and food.

Excellent little pub, well worth a visit, good beer, excellent food, nice staff and the most gorgeous little garden with a babbling brook. Did I mention the lovely Horsham flagstone floor and the best fireplace ever!

Went specifically for Sunday lunch after visiting infrequently for drinks over recent months. Priced at 9.95 the roast was a bargain, with a choice of meats, finally choosing the beef which was served as 3 big slices cooked to perfection (pink in the middle). The beer selection could do with expanding but otherwise ..... WELL DONE!

Visited one Sunday afternoon with some friends. Not overly busy and bar staff were friendly enough. Beer was a trifle expensive but my big gripe was the state of the toilets - smelly and really dirty. I certainly wouldn't eat anything from the kitchen based on the level of housekeeping.
