user reviews of Ye Olde Corn Exchange, Hull

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Now called 'Legends', and featuring low-quality, music-related, entertainment-style experiences. Adjacent to Holy Trinity Church, and the declining indoor market.

Having read a previous comment on Ye olde Corn exchange, I would just like to add that yes this is a very old pub dating back to medievial times but despite the old charm this public house has
, it still brings in a varied customer clientel through the lunchtime, from business personnel to a regular/ happy clientel trade, with excellent reccommendations from visitors to the City, the highlight of this busy public house on a lunchtime is the ' Giant Haddock Chips and Peas ' arguably the best Fish and Chips in town, and well worth a visit just for that! Evenings vary, with weekends being quite busy however Wednesdays and Fridays are a great night out with the live entertainment by tribute artist Rick Owen......Try it and see for yourself !

Very old pub, was a popular food house a while back. used to have former Hull Kingston Rovers star Percy Johnson at the helm. Its now a msuic oriented bar on the increasingly popular Old Town ciruit.

Tabl;es and chairs disappear at night and it becomes a Live music venue three nights a week, Robbie Williams tribute artiste Rik Owen seem sto be resident there now. A Good night, great atmosphere if a buit cheap and tacky.

Clean and tidy, good service.
Notices say that they are starting Sunday lunches up shortly
