Another pub with a make over but actually in keeping . Wooden floor could do with a varnish though ! Decent selection of real ales but I stick with Mansfield Smooth . Plenty of lager and alcopops for the circuit crowd on a weekend as a few decent drinking bars in area now . Always seems to play 80s music when I'm in at varying levels depending on crowd in ( not a problem for me !). Clientele ranges from older regulars to a stag and hen party in last weekend. Not the biggest pub and can get crowded but plenty of floor space ( no clutter just a few tables and chairs round the outside ). Little room available with a couple of tables and stools and a TV ( Tuggers Snug ?) . Some great hull history pictures and memories of the river pilots .

Marstons pub on a street corner. There is a Wetherspoons at the other end of this short street with another pub in between. With so few pubs open in this area of Hull, I decided to try all three. The 3 ales on in this pub were Jennings Red Breast, Ringwood Boondoggle & Wychwood Bah Humbug. Only the small front bar appears to be in operation at present. There is still a TV up the corner, which had football on.

Just started using this pub again since they started selling cask ale again. Nice pint of Cumberland ale. Seems to be hit and miss with customers, sometimes i walk past because it's full other times its okay. Main room and one smaller room sky tv. Worth a visit

Used to be an old fashioned working mens boozer, but now its part oif tghe old town circuit they have axed many opening sessions and sell lots of fizz at weekends. We thoought it has closed down as we didnt catch it open until this Saturday just gone. Packed to the rafters, so they are doing something right
