Nice enough Fullers pub. The Pride was well kept. Pale Ale also available. Not too sure about the trendy plastic chairs and decor, but it's not so bad that it drives you out. mrse1 - 24 May 2008 10:27
A delightful establishment, the bar staff were a joy, particuarly the young the glass collector, I believe was called Mike, who was very 'accomodating' and pleasant, ensuring all my dirty glasses were collected swiftly as soon as my drink had finished - top service all round! getout - 31 Dec 2007 15:53
A lovely pub for a few low key pints. Can be disupted by the local Rahs playing their Rugby Boy/Boarding School games, but this cannot reflect on the pub as a whole. The beer is well kept, the food resonable and staff friendly. A special mention has to go to Mickey, the delightful and charming glass collector who should be promoted to landlord! Professional and georgous to boot! I will be back . . . getout - 31 Dec 2007 15:48
Elegant old premises as others describe, with a young and smart clientele. Charming enough though rather noisy. The night I was there the London Pride had run out and there was only ESB, which then ran out - so I have the feeling this is one of those pubs with dwindling demand for real ale, leading to not ordering it, leading to....no real ale. Also it is a little steep - £3.70 a go for the bottled ale after the run-out. AbeC - 20 Dec 2007 23:29
Cool pub this, I've been in a couple of times recently, fairly quiet during the week though, it has a nice relaxed atmosphere and the barstaff are friendly, food wasn't bad either Brocky - 11 Sep 2007 16:26
