Good beer and cosy pub. Will barstaff please learn how to serve a gin and tonic. They should not drown the gin by pouring the tonic into the glass. terrylunn - 11 Mar 2008 16:40
Really good beer - Bomber. Nice cosy pub for a lunchtime drink. However, could the manager tell the staff not to pour the tonic into the glass, when a gin and tonic has been ordered, thus "drowning" the gin! terrylunn - 11 Mar 2008 16:37
Great refuge when doing the market on a Saturday. I'm not a Thwaites fan, to be honest, but they do have a genuine German larger in Warsteiner. The food looks excellent and the staff are very friendly. Excellent multi-roomed boozer. EFC1878 - 23 Oct 2007 18:31
