Popped into this pub fri night heading to Marylebone. Found it quite busy with standing room only, staff efficient and friendly. Would come back when less busy just to check out portraits of all previous Earls of Devonshire and to try a pie. Beer overpriced but it is Marylebone so won't expect to pay less for decent pint.

Popped in last night, pretty small place but nice decor with framed portraits dotted around.
Reasonably busy but got served quickly.
Toilet stank a bit but overall a reasonable destination if your in the area.

Basic. Friendly. Good pint.

I'd give this one a miss.

Looks nice as you walk in but -

Bar staff seemed more interested in horsing around with each other rather than serving anyone, which managed to create a queque at the bar when there were three barstaff behind the counter. One of them decided to go down the other end of the bar and chat to a regular rather than serve anyone.

Beer, though well kept is expensive - £3.45 for a pint of bombardier.

Plenty of other pubs to choose from that might actually want your money.

I wounldn't bother with this one next time I'm in the area.

This is a very basic boozer with Staropramen and limited standard draught selection along with Bombardier, Greene King IPA and Young’s Special, which was off during my visit. The food menu stretches to pies and sandwiches, but what more does one need.

There was some sort of music quiz/karaoke going on at the back of the pub which seemed to be very popular with a very loud group of girls, but everyone seemed to be having fun. There is a plasma screen on the back wall, but this was off and I saw no signs of any upcoming sporting events that were due to be shown.

This place is ok, but there are better pubs in the immediate area so I doubt that I’ll return.
