| I would like to state the anonymous review below is a completely unfair judgment of the Buxted Inn. What goes on at or the around station has nothing to do with the quality of the Buxted Inn which has its own adequately sized and safe car park. I have been going to the Buxted Inn for many years and have never known of a car to be vandalized on the premises. This is a great pub run by friendly staff which serves fantastic food. | This pub is good and, as it is next to Buxted station, it’s a handy stop for a decent pint on returning from a day’s work in London. However the station car park is inadequate which makes it is necessary to park on roads near to the station and the pub. Although safe, and perfectly legal, this activity appears to have upset a section of the locals who are venting their feelings by vandalising visitors’ cars. So no more Buxted for me, and unfortunately no more Buxted Inn. I’d give this one a miss, unless you are on foot. anonymous - 2 Oct 2007 15:45 |
