I must say that now that Harry has taken over the 'Wheatsheaf on the Green' in Esher. The food is unpretentious and just great. At last a decent place to eat in Esher, thanks Harry ..............

Decent village-y boozer to rear of Esher with Fuller's London Pride, "Young's" (pah) Ordinary and Doom Bar - Pride in decent nick. Car park at rear entrance with entrance to left of front. Outside seating at front and rear. 7/10 is about right.

Esher/Claygate pubs all seem to be pretty decent. This is no exception and has a great location to go with it. Beer is rather standard with the usual suspects, Youngs, Fullers LP etc. but well kept. Very handy for Sandown Park so obviously very busy on racedays.
