St Austell Brewery pub primarily frequented by locals on the edge of Hayle. They seemed to be doing a roaring trade with their Sunday carvery. Dartmoor Best, HSD, Trelawny, Proper Job & Tribute were all on. Keg cider was Cornish Rattler, Pear Rattler & Berry Rattler. Staff were friendly. But the interior is a little basic. Ok, but nothing particularly special.

Have just spent a lovely afternoon with my family at the Cornish Arms. Haven't been here in a while and the new manager has really spruced it up! The food was great, as was the atmosphere with very kindly staff. And thanks to part of the garden being under cover we were able to enjoy the sunshine whilst not getting wet! Would definitly revisit.

after eating and drinking in the Bucket of Blood up the road this was a let down, the food came out in about five mins " DING " and wasn't up to much, ale and service was fine though, but food wise would much prefer too wait the 30 mins + in the B of B for obviously freshly prepared food

Visited on a Saturday night. God selection of St Austell Ales including HSD on draught. Food had a pretty par for the course pub menu but good to eat and reasonably priced. Friendly atmosphere - free papers on the bar. What's not to like? Rates a (generous) 7

Hey 'Bash' can't help but notice you joined this site & gave this pub a good review ( after it receiving several bad reviews from various people),a very bad review of a nearby rival pub and now nearly 6 months on you don't appear to have gone near this site. You are obviously connected to this pub in some way,if you feel you have to do things like this to drum up trade i pity you, your family & anyone unfortunate enough to walk into your pub.
