Like a lot of pubs in the Sussex sticks this place hasn't really changed since Thatcher was PM. It's fine though. Beer's ok and popular with the over 70s...

Going back a few years now, but visited here with the Horsham team for bar billiards: our captain worked his charm on the landlady and we got a lock in ! Really friendly pub with a great atmosphere.

Went there with some friends/family on Boxing Day for lunch. Food was very, very good and reasonably priced so wouldn't hesitate to eat there again. There were four proper beers on offer (memorably ESB & L.Pride) but I wasn't drinking coz it was too early for me, that and the fact that it's one of those old boozers with beams you keep bumping your head on! The pub's in a picturesque setting. Behind it there's a duck pond and some twittens (that's 'alleys' to you Londoners) if you fancy a walk before/after eating.
