Appalling food that is seriously over-priced. Always a disappointment despite the views. publover888 - 29 Oct 2011 16:28
It's a nice enough pub for a drink, with great views and well kept beer. We had problems when eating here. The food was all microwaved and none came with vegetables. The bill when closely inspected had an extra drink added to it. The staff were rushed and were not particularly attentive. It's a shame as it could be a really great pub. realalefan77 - 11 Jul 2011 19:19
I last went in here about 30 years ago as a small boy. Popped in on Sunday evening out of curiosity. It seemed a really nice, genuine old pub. Still has all the old wood fittings and separate areas inside. Staff were very friendly. Excellent garden overlooking the harbour reynedd - 28 Jul 2010 23:57
I have just been back to the Crown & Anchor, Chichester after nearly18 mths to find an amazing turn around! Before the lack of service and customer care and the food was zero. Now the service was 10 out of 10 along with the food. A great variety of fish dishes and something for everyone to enjoy! All the staff were smiling and attentive. We will be now coming back on a regular basis, at least once a week! Well done !!! A 10 out of 10 experience! Amazing view's 2nd to none! shantiuno - 29 May 2010 13:30
Attractive old pub right on the harbour’s edge. Large floor to ceiling windows at the back make the most of the views across the water and there’s a small beer garden as well. It’s a good sized pub with several different rooms, wooden flooring and some old beams. They do food all day. Barman seemed pretty useless, managing to get 50% of our order wrong (wrong size drink, wrong flavour packet of crisps). Beers on offer were Young’s Bitter and London Gold, St. Austell’s Tribute and Wells Bombadier. The only cider was Strongbow unfortunately. Blackthorn - 1 Apr 2010 10:43
