Had a very nice lunch on a weekday. Clearly popular with the suits form Truro. Food was well prepared and tasty. Would wager not all prepared from scratch but the buyer is doing their job quite well. Staff we very pleasant and if you're running a tab on a card they have a neat card safe system rather than sticking it in a glass. Quite reassuring. (potato wedges were super) dbjmay - 5 Jun 2007 18:00
the pub has spectacular views of the river and is now open all day long!!!!!!! The food does cost slightly more than your average pub but the menu more than justifies this. With a new manager and a new menu, the pub seems to be heading in the right direction. I have enjoyed warm and friendly service, music and quiz nights and look forward to many more! magicjohnson - 10 May 2007 19:41
As seems to be typical with pubs that have the best positions i.e. overlooking water, the food is just about edible and overpriced. The pub has no atmosphere. The staff look like they wish they weren't really there and it's always shut on a glorious sunny day!!!!!!!! stelladrinker - 13 Apr 2007 18:43
some really shocking service from female waitresses the food is over priced and poor quality, only good things are the views and some of the male members of staff who were very polite anonymous - 3 Jan 2007 21:27
