Whetherspoon's a bit sensitive about the ongoing problems in this Pub. Our trueful comments removed!!!. Known as a dive all around ELondon look at the other comments). Decided we are out and all should AVOID. anonymous - 7 Mar 2007 16:39
Bloke stabbed to death outside last month, reportedly after having an argument inside. What does THAT tell you? Avoid. anonymous - 13 Nov 2006 16:42
This place as got the slowest and the most unhelpful bar staff i have ever come across. Would not go to this dump again if it was the last pub on earth. STAY AWAY. anonymous - 6 May 2006 21:20
Sadly things are not well at the Hudson.A lot of the regulars have decamped to the Goose at Stratford. The level of service, not very high to start with, has dropped alarmingly with some staff being actively rude and others, especially Miss Piggy, going out of their way to be unhelpful. They have replaced most of the seats with cheap new ones which turn your bum numb after about 30 minutes, perhaps this is to facilitate a quick turnover in customers,in which case it is a definite success.Avoid. ladyisobel - 20 Aug 2005 07:58
A typical Wetherspoon pub at the lower end of the market.Beer is generally good, with the exception of the San Miguel which is so frothy they throw away 2 pints to get 1,now they get annoyed if you ask for it-shame it'a great pint. The day trade consists of dossers, retired and the workshy-normal for Wetherspoons, but friendly enough-evenings,forget it. The staff are the usual mix of incompetents and disinterested, apart from Moyna who is a gem,and David, the deputy manager, who is a dear,if you get my drift. Prices are the lowest in the area, and although it's looking a little tired decoratively you could do worse than give it a visit. ladyisobel - 13 May 2005 23:43
