Just went for a meal this evening
Had a lovely beautifully cooked meal in the friendliest atmosphere
Food was good home cooking at a very reasonable price
Although it was reasonibly priced there was obviously no lack of quality, no cheap ingredients
will be going back again

Keepers of good quality Cask Ale and the only pub in Lancs.' atleast, selling the range of award winning beers from HOPBACK.The Summer Lightning 5%abv is a top seller & excellent fresh home made food courtesy of Chef/landlord David Scholfield is "the best kept secret in Westhoughton" Non smoking dining pleasent atmosphere and good friendly service makes this pub wellworth a trip out. Food served Fri - Sat 12til 9pm and Sunday til 7pm. Gets a bit busy Sunday though & there can be a wait. So whilst waiting the Cask is well worth a try and staff know about the ale they have on if your not sure what to have then your offered a small sample of any you fancy. A pub where customer service is of high value and always hello & goodbye & thankyou makes you feel like your one of the locals & have been going There for years.
