| Keepers of good quality Cask Ale and the only pub in Lancs.' atleast, selling the range of award winning beers from HOPBACK.The Summer Lightning 5%abv is a top seller & excellent fresh home made food courtesy of Chef/landlord David Scholfield is "the best kept secret in Westhoughton" Non smoking dining pleasent atmosphere and good friendly service makes this pub wellworth a trip out. Food served Fri - Sat 12til 9pm and Sunday til 7pm. Gets a bit busy Sunday though & there can be a wait. So whilst waiting the Cask is well worth a try and staff know about the ale they have on if your not sure what to have then your offered a small sample of any you fancy. A pub where customer service is of high value and always hello & goodbye & thankyou makes you feel like your one of the locals & have been going There for years.
