puppyfeat you're spot on.

I watch the football in this pub as it's the best place in the area for that and it's actually a nice pub too. Have been coming here for about 5 years.

A couple of weeks ago I was charged £4 for a pint of Becks Vier. I said to the barman that this was extremely expensive and he agreed but gave me the old "I don't set the prices" spiel......today I was charged £4.70 (!!!) for a pint of Estrella....

I watched the 1st half of the match and then decamped to Kentish town where I paid £3.35 for a pint.

I refuse to drink in this pub anymore. They are going to drive out a lot of local, working class people with their prices and it'll become another one of those pubs that only the toffs drink in. (Maybe that's the idea?) Either way I'm out!

Management and Landlord take note!

This pub is my local - well, closest anyway. It's always been overpriced for what it is (nothing special) but after yesterday I'll never be going there again. I was charged - and stupidly paid - £4.75 for a pint of Staropramen. Now I know this is a premium beer but it was only a couple of weeks ago they were asking £4.10 for it, which was exorbitant then! I didn't say anything yesterday but I thought I'd tell the wider world this way that you should avoid this place and there are plenty better pubs around that have more realistic prices. Never again.

Don't be sucked in by the westerham ales. Generally in such poor condition - as are any other ales, like thwaites, which sometimes appear - that it is really not worth bothering with. You will either return your drink immediately or wish you had halfway down the glass. Keep walking to the junction, turn right and head for the Southampton. A shame, makes you yearn for the Taylor Walker years, with leaking roof and golldfish tank.....

Slightly glitzy interior with an unusual copper bar top.

A good place if you're a local or happen to be in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit this place.

Just moved into the area and I've stumbled on the Dartmouth Arms. I was a bit unsure of it from the outside. The blackboards look old and dated. But entered to a lovely open fire and a friendly, polite Scotish man behind the bar. Had a glass of nicely chilled dry white wine - something that is hard to come by in pubs these days. I was really surprised at how nice and friendly the place was and at how bad wall paper could be. I've been back quite a lot over the past few weeks. A great local.
