Favourite pub in the area for eating, always good food, well cooked and good value. Much more pleasant since the smoking ban, although this does mean that some of the staff are always outside on a "smoke break"! Downsides - staff a little indifferent and seem to hate clearing tables.

Lovely feel to the place. Well kept beer (though a slightly disappointing choice of real ale available). I particularly liked the two real fires in the one bar and the mini-library in the corner. definitely worth future visits.

Wonderful to find a pub in the area which serves both as a cracking local but also somewhere for a quality meal at reasonable prices. Seems to be a fair few new staff all of whom are lovely. Shame that the last manager matt has left. He was a great laugh, always good to have a drink with. Go to the quiz if you can put up with the somewhat pompous quizmaster. Always a good night!

Use the Dartmouth regularly & like the 'poncy ciders'!Food is good & well priced £5.00 for cod & chips on Fridays!
It is very smokey though - staff have to work hard to keep the restaurant area smoke free. This will all change on July 1st & I will go even more often!

Cracking local boozer, always a lively atmosphere, good for football watching and a great quiz every other Tuesday. My favourite pub in the area.
