Nice little pub rediscovered after 30 years. Clearly making a big effort attract customers. Part of the "Sizzlers" chain with a wide range well prepared food and real ale. Plain clean interior with some interesting metal decorations and coal effect fire. Went in on a Monday night, looked like a poker game in progress. Although plain from outside this pub is worth a visit - quite a village feel for this area. earthsounz - 2 Mar 2011 09:13 |
I really like this place and it is very good value. Stella and kronenberg are of an excellent quality. Locals look a little rough but they are no trouble. weston - 15 Sep 2009 15:41 |
I have just visited this pub with my partner and five month old daughter for lunch, and have been very pleasantly surprised. The Young's Ordinary was good, the service polite and friendly, and the food, whilst unexciting, was absolutely fine. There would seem to have been a refit and the pub is now CASQUE MARQUE. The toilets are clean and obviously well maintained. The customers were all fine and dandy. I'd go again. Incidentally, Northolt Village isn't a "rough" area... Si31 - 28 Jun 2008 16:07 |
My wife and I live just by the Crown and to be honest we have tried to like it but unfortunately the "regulars" on the right hand side as you walk in by the bar are oh so noisy and rude. The food is so poor. The "manageress"or who ever she is,is a right "madam".If you are not a regular she will blank you. We now take a bus to Eastcote where we are made to feel welcome in the bars there footballgills - 13 Dec 2007 19:15 |
