| went recently and its deffinatly a pub in decline westyw9 - 15 Apr 2008 14:19 |
| I've just got back from lunch there, and the food is awful. My sausages were microwaved to oblivion, so much so that I couldn't get my knife into them. When i complained, the member of staff just looked at me blankly, until we suggested that he might like to tell the manager. Who then didn't sort out my complaint, and our lunch hour was up so we had to leave. Plus, I asked for a Bloody Mary, and got a Merlot!!! Maybe it's a language barrier, as the majority of the staff are eastern european, but not good for a busy pub in the City. I work part-time in a pub, so am very conscious of customer service issues, and as said below, this pub needs to buck it's ideas up. Will only go back because it's so close to work. | OK Nicholson's Pub but nowhere near as good as the Ship just round the corner. Service was good and the pub wasnt too busy on a Friday lunchtime. My beer was adequate. TheHorsesMouth - 17 Jul 2007 07:51 |
| One one staff member at lunchtime and all the beer was off. Has potential but needs to buck its ideas up. DuchyBoy - 25 Apr 2007 16:18 |
| Only went in this place for the 1st time last week and I have to say I really liked it. It's out of the way but has it's busy times esp. Friday afternoon and the bar staff helped me with my big round to carry away. 3 London Pride's weren't bad either so I'll be back to try the rest. Thank you. Mcloj - 16 Apr 2007 13:14 |
