| Coaching Inn not far from the Peak Forest Canal,there was a friendly welcome in the front lounge with a very well kept guest ale from Cottage Brewery called Sporting Whippet which slipped down.Other real ales available include Sharp's Doom Bar and Deuchars IPA ..There is a more basic back bar and a small restaurant area.Best pub in the area and must be close to a GBG entry. | Pleasant free house situated by the Peak Forest Canal. 7 handpumps on bar. Beers at time of writing John Smiths Cask, Sharp’s Doombar, Bombardier, Deuchars IPA, Adnam’s Explorer, with a rotating guest beer, and Owd Rosie cider. Beer in good shape time and time again.
