| Some friends took us to this beautiful looking pub from the Green King stable just off the A10. Everybody arrived at 6pm when the pub opened. The menu has some pies and sausages from a renowned local butcher. Not cheap here but I didn't here any complaints. There is a formal restaurant at the back but most patrons appeared to eat in the bar area. Outside there is a large garden area where pheasants enjoy jumping on and off the pub roof! Didn't try the beer but it was typical GK stuff but the soft drinks were enormous. The pub appears to bottle its own mineral water and you can pay £3 more and take the empty bottle home with you!
