| Licensees arent what I'd call warm natured and welcoming if your a stranger. I didnt even get a 'hello'. Pub looks nicer on outside than inside, horrible wallpaper and mismatched decor, more notices than you can read, you dont know where to look. | I've been a regular in this pub for eight or nine years now. It changed hands in May 2007. The present landlady and landlord are very warm natured and welcoming. They run a brilliant little village pub with a good range of casque marque ales. This is a locals pub but new faces are given a warm and cheerful welcome by everyone. Food is always available and there is an acoustic club meeting on every Tuesday evening where all are welcome. There is a general knowledge quiz, every Sunday evening and a music quiz every Thursday evening, they are very well supported. A little gem, well worth a visit. twang1068 - 21 Aug 2008 13:54 |
