the long wait at the bar to be served by a person who had no skills on how to deal with a customer, the worst was to come as the badger beer was the worst i have ever had. honestlee - 28 May 2011 20:42
A persoanl favourite of mine, has a lovely garden and in the summer fantastic place to bring the family. This one is definately on its way up at the moment. Lovely staff !!!! Always room for improvement but this doesnt have far to go. Fantastic food , but times are a little awkward :) avidboozer - 30 Apr 2011 22:53
the quality of beer seems to be a bit hit and miss, the garden is nice, but agree with others about the lack of atmosphere inside! Ian_J - 26 Aug 2010 19:24
I was in the Crown last Saturday lunch time and had a fantastic experience. The bar was nicely busy with a mixture of families, kids and adults making a lovely atmosphere. The service was efficient and friendly and I loved their fish finger sandwich! There is a new management team in this pub now and you can really tell the difference. Also the wedding party certainly seemed to be having a great time in spite of the rain as well! AlwaysHappy - 9 Apr 2010 12:40
