Small reasonably traditional Youngs pub on the main Wandsworth Road. Football colours behind the bar indicate that the boss is a Celtic fan, which probably explains why they were showing Falkirk v Celtic on the main screen ( being watched by about half a dozen people ) while the Man U v Spurs game was showing on a small TV in another corner of the pub ( with about 20 people trying to watch ). I enjoyed the visit - Ordinary on surprisingly good form - but the burgundy painted walls made the interior feel a bit dark. Part of the main bar is dominated by a pool table Note the old Youngs tiling with the ram motif outside - not seen as often nowadays as it used to be JohnBonser - 28 Jan 2008 12:57
Staff are sound, pool table is good and the regular clientelle are friendly. Sometimes it's full of chav scum off the local estates but makes a change from the cityboys who frequent the rest of Clapham. Fionn_MacCool - 14 Jun 2007 17:33
Surprisingly good Youngs pub. Helpful staff on rammed Saturday night. I stuck to lager because I was rather distracted by a number of lovely girls. mooky - 15 Jan 2007 13:53

Far from convinced that its a "bit of a dive" - its an unremarkable smallish traditional Youngs local on the main road. Worth popping in if passing by JohnBonser - 8 Jul 2005 11:26
