Currently closed and undergoing yet another transformation

Remember this place as it's first incarmation as the Carney Arms in the days when 'trendy' meant hanging a railway sleeper with weeds on it from the ceiling. Has undergone many 'transmogrifications' since then and the current one is just more a case of 'much of a muchness'.Bit of a dance area in the 'cellar' bit, a pool table at the front window.... no ales on show, £3-50 for Stella..... key selling point is.......... bus stop outside and next door to Finchley Road & Frognal station ( as in you can drop in for a swift pint before catching some form of transport to somrwhere better.

appears to have closed down; not entirely surprised as never sure what market this pub was aiming for.
