The only word for this plastic pub is shabby, shabby interior, customers, shabby poorly trained staff and unless you have a couple of hours to spare forget about food. And why pretend to have a huge range of ales when invariably there are only one or two actually on wellinformed - 14 Apr 2008 03:28
This has got to be the worst Wetherspoons pub on the planet! If they've got cask beer it probably isn't in very good nick. Did you know that they sell it so cheap because they buy stock that is about to go out of date? You can tell! Because it opens so early in the morning (9.00ish), it is soon full of .... well you know .... those kind of people! Informe - 12 Dec 2007 10:50
Slow service. If you are in a group you will be lucky if you all get your meals at the same time. Cheap beer isnt everything. lampgb - 18 Jul 2007 08:26
Typical Wetherspoon's. Very cheap beer and quite tidy (almost sterile), no music (a good thing for some). Attracts the power drinkers but surprisingly little trouble. (one of the few pubs with a high evening turnover that does not have doormen, asks the question do we really need doormen or are they more of an invitation for trouble?) Good priced food but often runs out of dishes and very slow service at the bar (exrememly frustrating). If you need the toilet... wait until your next pub. Food: Good price, good quality. Decor: Tidy & clean (but a bit sterile) Toilets: Disgusting & extermely smelly Service: Very slow, the odd smile would be nice The_Whole_Truth - 8 May 2007 20:22
A typical Wetherspoons, but there were staff serving so there was not too much of a wait. They did have guest beers on over their usual range and it was in good condition. gillhalfpint - 29 Mar 2007 12:48
