Popped in here about 3 weeks ago. Weatherspoons right?? Well, I couldn't get served, not because it was busy, but because it only had 1 member of staff working the bar and he was busy sorting food orders!! So I promptly headed for the door. Does nothing for me I'm afraid. There are better drinking establishments in Andover.

Can't rate it much higher, service can be intermittent depdending on staffing and customers. Beers vary from drinkable to downriht bad due to the long range of ales and lack of pull through on many. Still it is the cheapest watering hole in town and long may it remain so. It's a Wetherspoons so no surprise that it is exactly the same format as every other.

Went in there yesterday, only 1 decent real ale on, and the one I wanted wasn't ready yet. The place was full of screaming kids and idiotic chavs, and I found it hard to talk with my family when they were shouting the place. Normally, it's not a bad place to drink, but yesterday was not the best.

All the advantages of a Wetherspoon: very impressive range of cheap cask ales (£1.89 / pint) even though hardly anyone's drinking them; cheap meals especially the 2 meal deal; curry night on Thursday; coffee and muffins during the day. By avoiding Fridays and Saturdays you should get a quiet and hassle-free visit, while still benefiting from seeing some real 'babes' parading around with next to nothing on. If that's what you like :-)
