| ignore most of what is said in these comments. i have been using this pub now for around 2 months, the service is great! they do get extremly busy at times but the staff are always smiling and make you feel welcome. the managers i have seen working here have been great and have a great knowledge for the beers they serve. not sure what went on before to warrant the previous comments, but on every visit ive had its been all good. they certainly must of got there act together. | End up here more regularly than I would like as it is in a decent location. Service is always a little slow/ terrible. My family book a section for two celebrations there last year and on both occasions the management got it entirly wrong/ did nothing at all in tersm of reserving an area. it is cheap and has a good selection of drinks, but is not somewhere i ever really look forward to visiting. meltwaterfalls - 3 Feb 2011 13:27 |

| Went in this pub today, have used it lots in the past, but it's definately getting worse. Service is absolutely terrible. One person serving at the bar, which had at least 10 people waiting. Tried to order lunch at 11.50 am, but was told we could only have breakfast until 12. By the time we got round to ordering breakfast, it was 12.00, but still took our breakfast order. Waited 20 mins for it to arrive, now 12.20, how long did the people who had now ordered lunch, have to wait? The order was incorrect, so had to send it back. The staff are very uninterested, and actually told me that I had ordered incorrectly, which I definately had not !! Terrible, and will not be going back. janey71 - 11 Oct 2009 21:05 |
