New landlord is now in residence and deserves support as he is trying to turn the pub around. He is a real ale enthusiast and has Boddingtons, (which the pub has always had), plus two others which he keeps really well. Realistically this is all he can justify at the moment, but he hopes to obtain the Cask Marque as soon practicable. The place is cleaner and he plans to re-decorate the 'sports bar' in the new year. He is very approachable and this is his first pub, so all credit to him for taking on such a large property. His dream would be to open the vaults again! Not4johns - 17 Dec 2007 22:10

Very poor service by staff who look like they'd rather be serving in Iraq than behind a bar. bouncybouncy - 8 Sep 2006 15:42
Probably my least favourite pub in fleetwood, it just doesn't seem to have an atmosphere at all apart from during the Fylde Folk Festival when it's full of huge bearded people, and then there's the male folkies. anonymous - 15 Aug 2005 14:27
