Agree with scottylad, full of pricks, much better when it was Mistress P's.

Came here yesterday and was impressed friendly staff we didnt eat but the menu (Dim Sum) looked impressive no real ales which might put some people off but definitely worth a visit.

It's now called Traders and a cross between a Chinese restaurant and British pub.

It's the sister of the Drunken Monkey near Bishopsgate in the city of London.

So, no more pub quiz or Karaoke, but a late license.

Full of pricks, hate this pub.

The most friendly pub in London. It was ten years ago, when J was in London and - I'm sure - it's now too. I live in Poland but I hope, I will come back to Mistress PS. Do you remember us, Pat? Peter and Juliette from Poland? If you remember, please send me your a-mail. I'll write. My e-mail [email protected]

I turned up here this month after almost a year away (because really it was the perfect winter pub, with its real fire and lit with fairy lights), and was really disappointed to find the management had changed and the pub no longer serves what were the best Sunday roasts around. The atmosphere's still good, but something - perhaps the dog or the Irish barman - is missing, and it's not quite the same as it was. Still well worth a look, though, and still unique.

Cosy, unpretentious and a breath of fresh air if you are used to snarling at the posh 'horray henry' types that fill the generic bars of clapham...

A well run pub full of character and genuine warmth. Pat is lovley and makes a real effort to make every customer feel welcome. A great cross section of customers and a good old style duke box added to the friendly atmosphere.

Probably the last down to earth local in the area so enjoy it while you can. With the yuppie flats and bars that have spread like the plague in recent years closing in, it may be only a matter of time before this gem becomes another overpriced, soulless ya and yuppie haunt full of spoilt brats with cars, flats and jobs courtesy of daddy's money and old school tie.

HANG IN THERE MISTRESS P'S!! There aren't many of you left.

The best pub quiz (plus free chips) in London.

warm, friendly place run by Pat, a real eccentric who serves sausage rolls/fish fingers at half-time in footy/rugby. unlike some other clapham haunts in that attracts wide range of people

They do very nice roast potatoes.
